We are a privately owned food manufacturing and distribution company which deals with Ice Cream, Yogurt, Chocolates, Sauces, Biscuit Cones and Pastry Products and we also supply and install ice cream equipment.
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that our products meets all necessary quality parameters before they reach the consumers.
The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for quality testing activities to assure products are within customer specifications. Activities include prioritizing and assigning daily duties, troubleshooting quality issues, procuring need materials, controlling spare parts inventory for lab equipment, managing hands-on new & existing lab personnel. The goal is to help preserve our reputation by ensuring that our products and services are capable to drive sustainable growth.

The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for quality testing activities to assure products are within customer specifications. Activities include prioritizing and assigning daily duties, troubleshooting quality issues, procuring need materials, controlling spare parts inventory for lab equipment, managing hands-on new & existing lab personnel. The goal is to help preserve our reputation by ensuring that our products and services are capable to drive sustainable growth.
Responsible for efficient coordination of lab daily activities by training and assigning the daily work to available quality personnel.
Developing the quality control processes & implementations.
Designing product specifications.
Ensuring products are designed with adherence to legal and safety standards.
Daily monitoring & follow up for product quality throughout production.
Supervising quality team and monitoring production standards.
Supervising the production process to make sure that all products meet consistent standards.
Daily monitoring & updating the Packing, raw materials testing, micro & chemical analysis
Conducting training programs & documenting on standard operating procedures, Hygiene, GMP, and GHP.
Reviewed Quality records for accuracy and compliance
Maintained and organized all records, documentation, and other files associated with quality engineering and inspection tasks.
Performed routine quality inspection operations on industrial and commercial items.
Make quality decisions (accepted or rejected) based on provided control outlines.
Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures.
Manage & participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Organizing internal audit as per scheduled plan.
Ensure control of all documents internally generated as well as externally generated.
Maintaining all the Quality Management System records.
Maintaining & updating the ISO documentations.
Responsible for maintaining high customer retention, customer satisfaction and monitoring customer complaints.
Qualifications
BSc/MSc in Food Technology/Science or Dairy Technology or related field
5 Years of relevant experience in Quality related position in FMCG/Food Manufacturing environment
Certification of Quality Control & Food Safety Management System is a strong advantage (ISO9000/FSMS/FSSC/BRC)
Documentation knowledge for ISO certification (FSMS/FSSC/BRC)
Acceptance Sampling & Control Charts
Process Protocol & Process Control
Quality Control Inspection
Meticulous attention to detail 5S Methodology
Quality improvement tools & technique.
